Show off your artistic talents and submit a masterpiece to the 7th Annual Hanson Public Library Art Show! Artwork can be submitted to the Library until November 5th, and will be on display for online and community judging from November 7th to 18th. Winners will be announced at our Open House on November 19th. Art should be original and reflect an image inspired by a book or poem. All artwork must be 8.5 by 11 inches to fit in our display frames. There will be prize ribbons awarded for four categories: Child (Age 4-7), Youth (Age 8-11), Young Adult (Age 12-16), Adult (Age 17+)

Enjoy a delightful day of music, art, live animals, and light refreshments at the 17th Annual Hanson Public Library Open House! The day will include Mark Davis on piano, an Animal World Experience show (preregistration is required for this activity), a visit with children’s book character Taco Dragon, the 7th Annual Art Show, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, and light refreshments.

The Library will be closed on Friday, November 11 in observation of Veterans Day. The Library will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 in observation of Thanksgiving.
