If you have a library card but it's been a while or you've misplaced it, you can check your status by calling us at 508-697-3331.
We can renew expired cards over the phone and you'll get immediate access to e-content by using the Hoopla & Libby apps.

Kindness Rocks for Mrs. Davis

Rocks Collected Through September

Help us celebrate Mrs. Davis's retirement from her many years in the Children's Room at the Bridgewater Public Library by creating and bringing in a kindness rock during the month of September. Be as creative as you want with your rock!

Rocks can be left around the callicarpa bush planted in Mrs. Davis's honor.

The Learning Tree

A Caregiver & Child Literacy Program

First Session is Friday, September 16 at 10:30AM

You are invited to join Miss Nicole for a morning of fun educational activities designed to support your 3-5 year old's social-emotional growth and school readiness. She will provide a variety of activities including: stories, art, music, movement and STEM too.

Space is very limited for this program and you must register with Triumph, Inc. by calling Nancy at 508-822-5388 ext. 208. Please call Triumph or visit Triumph's Facebook page for the most up to date information about their programming.

The Learning Tree is sponsored by the Coordinated Family & Community Engagement (CFCE) Program.  CFCE is funded by a grant awarded to Triumph, Inc. by the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care.

School Bell 

A Temporary Exhibit of Political Cartoonist Herb Block

Tuesday, September 6 through Monday, September 19

A temporary exhibit of former Washington Post political cartoonist Herb Block entitled “The School Bell” will be on display at the Bridgewater Public Library.  This exhibit is a great supportive learning tool as Herblock “believed that a strong education is what gives people the opportunity to reach their highest potential, to become respectable leaders and to live as productive members of society.” 

Deaf Awareness Month

Raise awareness of the culture, language, and history unique to the deaf and hard-of-hearing in our communities by checking out these great titles.
