Saturday, March 2 at 10AM | Registration Required

Join us in this specialized yoga practice open to everyone touched by CANCER. A special invitation is also extended to caregivers and health care professionals.

Event Details: 

  • No prior yoga experience is required. 
  • Bring your own yoga mat, a blanket, bolster (or firm medium sized pillow), yoga blocks (if you have them).
  • Dress in comfortable clothing

About Yoga4Cancer: 


Yoga4cancer is a research based Oncology Yoga methodology addressing the specific needs of cancer patients and survivors. This class is taught by Sabine Drescher, a certified yoga4cancer teacher with the training and experience to ensure safe and effective support.


Yoga4cancer classes help cancer patients and survivors: 

  • Maintain a strong immune system
  • Build strength and flexibility
  • Reduce cancer related fatigue
  • Improve sleep and reduce anxiety
  • Manage treatment side effects
  • Create self confidence
  • Cultivate hope and a sense of well-being
  • Support long term health goals

  • Achieve the American Cancer Society's weekly guidelines for recovery and prevention

Join this informal adult knitting group and be in the company of other fiber artists while you purl 1, knit 2. This is not an instructional class. Please bring your own yarn, needles, and projects to work on. All are welcome to attend. Drop-in any time and stay as long as you'd like.

One Tree at a Time

Neighborhood Forest is giving out trees to plant with your children in celebration of Earth Day.  Follow this link to receive one (1) FREE sapling.  You may purchase additional trees through the link.  Neighborhood Forest will follow up with additional instructions on planting and you will receive an email from bwpl@sailsinc.org when your tree is ready for pickup.
