Letters to Santa

We are pleased to announce that we will be accepting letters to Santa online again this year!  Have an adult help you write to Santa and send your message through this form. This link will be available from Wednesday, November 23 through Wednesday, December 7. Our library elf, Jingle, will make sure Santa gets your letter. Parents, please make sure the form is filled out to include your child's full name and address if you would like a response.

Native American Heritage Month Reading Recommendations

November is National Native American Heritage Month and in honor of this nation’s first people and their rich history, we are featuring books by Indigenous authors who continue the tradition of storytelling to explore Native identity, challenge stereotypes and historical fallacies, and to connect the past with the present.

When you place a book on hold it gets shipped to the Bridgewater Public Library free of charge. You will then be notified when it is available for pickup!
You can also find many of these titles as ebooks on the Libby & Hoopla Apps.

Bluedrop Water Filtration System

Located on 151 High Street.

Bridgewater is pleased to offer a Bluedrop water filtration system fill station to residents who may have a need for PFAS-free water. The machine is open to the public. Hours of operation are 7:30AM to 5PM, seven days a week; once full lighting is in place at the site, the hours of operation will be 24/7. There is no limit to the amount of water jugs residents can fill, but those using the machine are asked to be courteous to others.

All questions and/or concerns regarding the Bluedrop machine or town water supply should be directed to the water supply department. The water supply department can be reached by calling 508-697-0910 or emailing  waterdepartment@bridgewaterma.org. Residents are asked not to enter the Highway Department office with questions relating to the machine.
