October Sneak Peak

It's Our Birthday! Come Celebrate With Us!

Though the library itself is 140 years old, this year marks 50 years since the library building at 15 South Street opened and we think that is something worth celebrating. Join us at the library for music, speeches, and a brief stroll down memory lane. Cake and light refreshments will be served.

Kindness Rocks for Mrs. Davis

Mrs. Davis, a staple of our Children's Room, retired this past June. To celebrate the color and positivity she brought into the lives of so many little ones, we are asking all those wanting to honor her work here at Bridgewater Public Library to create and bring in a kindness rock. Rocks can then be left around the callicarpa bush planted in Mrs. Davis's honor right outside the library until the end of September.

Library Card Sign-up Month

Don't forget, September is library card sign-up month! We promise it's super easy to become a member or to renew an expired card. Just drop into the library any time we're open and visit the front desk.

What do I need to get a card?

  • Ages 5-12: A parent or guardian must be present with their photo ID and proof of address
  • Ages 12+: Provide photo ID and proof of address

Renew Over the Phone

  • If you have a library card but it's been a while or you've misplaced it, you can check your status by calling us at 508-697-3331.
