|  | TaleSpinners have existed for nearly twenty years and is open to new members! This adult writing group meets every Thursday from 1-3 PM.

The TaleSpinners encourages all kids of writing: memoir, poetry, short stories, & novels. They also encourage all genres: mystery, thrillers, science fiction, romance, & humor. We engage in gentle and helpful critiques of one another’s writing. Every writer will get a chance to share their work. We ask each writer to come with copies of their work to share with the rest of the group. No registration required. |

African Dance Workshop

Join Chefiatou Tokou from the Simdaca African Dance Academy for a two-part African Dance Workshop. No registration required.

|
Chefiatou Tokou, a Massachusetts-based dancer and choreographer, is originally from Togo in West Africa. A life-long dancer, Chéfi began her professional career over a decade ago, focusing on teaching Contemporary, Cultural and Urban African dance. Although she teaches dance moves from across the continent, she is mostly specialized in West and Central African dance steps. She uses the historical significance of the dance moves as a means to teach about the country or region the steps originated from, as well as how to identify the style of song they’re set to. Chéfi is known for motivating her students to dream big and fully realize their life’s purpose. She is the founder of the Simdaca African Dance Academy.

Make Do and Mend: Moving beyond what was and discovering new ways to exist in the world is vulnerable and complex. Accepting that we will always need to be malleable and will always need to evolve. That is living, that is survival. |

Identify, compare, and explore with Easton Children's Museum. As junior paleontologists, children will excavate fossils and engage in discussions about various extinction theories while learning fun facts about these creatures that once roamed the Earth. They will be able to take home their excavated fossil.
