 Closing Reception

Join the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School Advanced Painting & Drawing Class for the closing reception of their show, Pressing Matters. This show features a series of linoleum prints based on social justice issues students felt strongly about. Made while working with artist and printmaker Nancy McCormack Demren and BRRHS art teacher Shirley Wood. 

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Bridgewater Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

A Rockin' Radical Night of Mystery

It's the 80's again, and all of the big names are here for a big concert. Tensions run rampant as backstage secrets spill out into the spotlight with like, totally tragic results! This isn't an episode of Miami Vice! This is like...murder. It's up to you to bust it like a ghost, for sure! Peg your jeans, slouch your socks, flash some neon, put on way too much eyeliner and get that hair up! You are going to solve this crime in style. No time to be Too Shy! You are a Smooth Operator, and you know to listen to those Careless Whispers. It's time to put on your Sunglasses at Night and Relax. Time after time...You will solve the case.

Event Details

  • Tickets are $15 each. They can be purchased with cash or check at the library. You must have a ticket to attend this event. Tickets are non-refundable.

HAM Radio Show & Tell Presentation

The Massasoit Amateur Radio Association has been a Bridgewater public service communications group since 1962. They have provided contingency and event communications support for Bridgewater, Carver, Middleboro and other area towns and cities.

The Show & Tell Presentation will feature a couple of display tables with exhibits of Amateur radio equipment and portable "go-kits" that can be used to support Emergency Shelter operations when phone service is unavailable.

Stop by to learn about the fascinating world of ham radio and have your questions answered about this exciting hobby and valuable public service.

Big Ryan's Toddler Show

Come in and have some fun with Big Ryan! Big Ryan's toddler program focuses on puppet play, music, and movement.

April #ProjectGiving

Throughout the month of April we will be collecting gently used baby items on behalf of Keeping Pace with Multiple Miracles.
All donations can be dropped off at the library during open hours.

We will be Accepting the Following Items:

  • Gently used baby clothes 

  • Small Toys 

  • Baby-related equipment

  • Please note that everything must be clean & toys must not be broken or have any missing pieces. 

  • NO LARGE ITEMS PLEASE.
