Invading Mars

Wednesday, May 3 at 6:30PM | No Registration Required

Join Bridgewater State University professor Joseph Doyle for a presentation about life on Mars.

In 1938 a fictional invasion by the inhabitants of Mars panicked many Americans. Today we are invading Mars with our robots and spacecraft. Mars has become a world of robots that poke and prod the land, photograph the surface, and probe with ever more advanced instruments in order to discover the history of this world, did it have the ingredients for life and could life have arisen on this small world? What is the evidence for what we now know about Mars and its suitability to have given rise to life in the past?

There will be time for questions after the presentation.
