Summer Library Program 2021: Last Day August 9

The Tails and Tales Summer Library Program is almost over!  Seven weeks has gone by very quickly!  Since the program started on June 21, we've been very busy offering both on site and off site events for families. Many families have been visting the library to participate in our weekly activities, attend an event and to share their sticker logs, Bingos, and activity sheets with us. We know there are others who are working hard at home and will complete their logs by August 9. We have been counting a lot of stickers and putting up a lot of color tiles on the StickTogether mosaic  We are definetly going to fill it all by August 9! This is a huge accomplishment because there are 4,000 tiles on the mosaic.

As shown on our Event Calendar, there are a few more events scheduled in August. Those requiring registration are currently full, but you can check the event calendar and/or our Facebook page for cancellation updates.  Activities in the community or at the library which do not require registration will be ongoing through August 7.

The last day to turn in the red, CSLP sticker logs is August 9. (Adult and Teen participants can turn in 2 completed Bingos or a log).  We are open until 8 PM. If you would like to turn in your completed log before August 9, you can do so starting August 2. Please make sure your full name is on anything you turn in.

All participants who turn in logs by August 9 are invited to attend the Captain Bonney's Ice Cream Party on Saturday, August 14, at 1 PM.  There are a few other surprises as well.

When logs are turned in, participants will be asked to confirm attendance at the party.  Please check your calendars before turning in your log. Captain Bonney's needs to plan for table reservations and staffing, so attendance must be known by 8/12.  If you can not attend, there is a possibility that gift certificates will be available.

Please remember that  only SLP registrants who completed logs are eligible for free ice cream. Everyone else must purchase ice cream at the window.

Please contact us with any questions!

Also, please join me in thanking and supporting our local sponsors and volunteers who donated funds, prize items, their windows or their time!
