Do you have a cool collection you'd like to show off to your community? The library has a display case just waiting to be filled and we'd love to share your historical, artistic, or unique collection. Displays we've hosted from patrons have included antique cookie tins, bird houses, custom action figures, needlepoint work, die-cast automobiles, ceramics, and beanie babies. The display case consists of two levels, each with a locking glass door and glass shelving measuring 13 inches deep and 71 inches wide; the upper space is 45 inches high and the lower space is 35 inches high. Light items (i.e. paper or fabric) can be pinned or stapled to the background. This space can be reserved on a monthly basis for individuals. The library will provide the glass shelving and a neutral paper background (if desired). We ask that the displays be family-friendly; all displays must be approved by the Director. Contact us at 781-293-6771 or kbenvie@sailsinc.org for more information.
