Featured Book: Educated by Tara Westover
Description: A memoir about Westover's childhood in a survivalist family, her struggle to educate herself, and her eventual studies at Harvard and Cambridge. All are welcome.

Yoga
Date: Every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

Description: Led by Barbara Ward and other instructors from the YogaConnection of Plymouth. Open to all levels.
Fee: A single-class drop-in is $12 and a four-class registration is $45 ($35 for Friends members). Friends members can also purchase an eight-class punch ticket for $80, which is valid for three months.
Online Job Search Workshop
Date: Thursday, September 6th at 7:00 p.m.
Location: Meeting Room
Description: In this free workshop, employment consultant Gary Gekow will analyze and discuss numerous online job search strategies including job alerts, job boards, job aggregators, and company employment pages. He will also discuss how to best utilize these web sites for submitting your resume. Mr. Gekow has over 20 years of employment consulting and recruiting experience in the Boston marketplace. This workshop is open to all.

Digital Photography with Your Smart Device
Date: Thursday, September 13th at 7:00 p.m.

Description: In this free introductory workshop, learn about the camera app and all of its controls and functions, basic photo composition, and how to capture, download, back up, and share your photos and video clips. Led by Robert Michelson of Photography by Michelson, Inc. This workshop is open to all.

Google Series: Gmail Basics

Description: In the first workshop of our Google series, learn how to use Gmail to compose and send emails, view and reply to received messages, attach and download files, and organize your email. Participants should have basic computer skills including how to type and use a mouse. Computers will be provided.

Hungrytown Concert
Date: Wednesday, September 26th at 6:30 p.m.
Location: Meeting Room
Description: Join us for an hour-long acoustic program by the talented Vermont folk duo of Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, also known as Hungrytown. After more than a decade of world-wide touring and three album releases, the duo has earned a reputation for the quality and authenticity of their songwriting. Their music has received extensive radio airplay worldwide and has appeared on several television shows, including Comedy Central's The Daily Show, IFC's Portlandia, and Netflix's Lady Dynamite. We are thrilled to have them return to Pembroke Public Library for another wonderful performance! This concert is free and open to all.
