Yoga Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Led by Barbara Ward and other instructors from the YogaConnection of Plymouth. Open to all levels. A single-class drop-in is $12 and a four-class registration is $45 ($35 for Friends members). Friends members can also purchase an eight-class punch ticket for $80, which is valid for three months.

Pembroke Public Library Book Club Tuesday, March 7th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. For our March meeting the PPL Book Club is reading The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn, an unforgettable World War II tale of a quiet bookworm who becomes history’s deadliest female sniper. March Poetry Webinar Series: Women Poet Laureates of the U.S. Wednesdays March 8th and 15th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Celebrate Women’s History Month, help March go out like a lamb and simultaneously prepare for April’s National Poetry Month by exploring some great poetry! In this series of webinars focusing on U.S. poet laureates, we’ll read and discuss some notable women who have held that title. Genealogy Night Tuesday, March 28th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Are you interested in finding out more about your genealogy? Do you have a cool story about one of your ancestors you want to share? Join in our monthly Genealogy Night to chat with other family history buffs! All are welcome to attend, from experienced researchers who would like to share tips or stories about great finds, to beginners who want to learn more about the research process and online resources. Library laptops will be available to explore Ancestry Library Edition.

March Teen Take & Make: Spring Mosaics Available beginning March 1st while supplies last We know teens are busy with school, work, chores, and more so we're giving you an opportunity to craft on your own time. Pick up a Craft Kit in the YA Lounge and create a glittery spring mosaic.

Baby Lapsit Thursdays March 2nd, 23rd & 30th from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Designed for babies and toddlers from 6 to 24 months, Lapsits are a great chance for caregivers to bond with their child while learning new rhymes and stories to share. Each program includes stretches, music, a story, and more followed by an open play time.

Storytime Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Toddlers (ages 2-5) and their caregivers can enjoy an interactive storytime with songs, dances, games, and stories that encourage language development and social skills. Each themed storytime is followed by a craft.

Little Music Makers Thursday, March 9th from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Enhance your little one’s love of music during this 30-minute bonding time, with songs, dance, and movement games to excite one’s budding musician. Babies and toddlers ages 0-2 with a caregiver are welcome to drop in and join us!

Anime Club Thursday, March 9th from 4-5 p.m. Ages 11-15 are invited to watch anime, snack, craft and socialize. This month we'll be viewing Lu Over the Wall (rated PG, 1 hour and 52 minutes). Attendees can also make ocean slime!

LEGO Club Tuesday, March 14th from 4-5 p.m. Kids ages 5+ are welcome to visit and build with the library LEGOs. Bring your neighbors, big siblings, and school friends! LEGO Club is designed to give kids a safe, creative environment in which they can freely build with LEGOs, interact with peers, and express themselves. This month's theme is "Battle Bots!"

Chess Club Wednesday, March 15th from 4-5 p.m. Chess Club will now be hosted every third Wednesday of the month. All ages* & skill levels can learn and play chess at the library. Whether you have been playing for years or want to start playing for the first time, you’re welcome to join us. This is a drop-in event; no registration is needed. *Children under age 8 must be accompanied by someone over age 13 at all times

Puppy Dog Tales Thursday, March 16th from 4:15-5:00 p.m. Readers of all ages may read to a certified therapy dog to develop their literacy and presentation skills as well as build confidence and self-esteem. Our dogs and trainers provide a supportive environment to practice reading aloud. This is a drop-in event.

Puppet Storytime Thursday, March 16th from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Ages 0-3 with their caregivers are invited to enjoy a storytime with Through Me to You Puppetry! Newton the puppet and his friends take turns reading stories and singing songs. At the end of the 30 minute show, kids are invited to say "Hi!" to Newton and give him a high-five. Attendees are then welcome to participate in a hands-on Puppet Free Play session, where they can try out some hand puppets and finger puppets.This is a drop-in event. This program has applied for support from the Pembroke Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
