Storytimes offer your toddler the chance to develop important skills as well as a great giggle! Ages 2-5 are invited to Storytimes on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Every week features a fun theme with songs, rhymes, movements, books, and a craft.

Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. are Baby Lapsits for ages 6-24 months. Lapsits feature songs, movements, and more you can do with your little one, followed by open playtime.

Grades K – 5 are welcome to come and build with the library LEGOs every month in LEGO Club! LEGO Club is designed to give kids a safe, creative environment in which they can freely build, interact with peers, and express themselves! Each month has a secret theme to encourage creative thinking. This month you can join us on Tuesday, November 13th from 4-5 p.m. in the Craft Room.

Readers of all ages may join us in Pages & Puppies and read to a certified therapy dog to develop their literacy and presentation skills as well as build confidence and self-esteem. This program provides a supportive environment to practice reading aloud. Join us this month on Thursday, November 1st from 4:15-5 p.m.

Pop Up Art Workshop: Painting with Gustav Klimt Thursday, November 8th from 4-5:30 p.m. Ages 8-12 may join the Pop Up Art School for a hands-on workshop to paint a "Tree of Life" in the style of Gustav Klimt. The workshop will begin with slides and an overview of the artist and his work. Follow along step-by-step to make your own version of a tree with spiraling branches! Pop Up Art Workshop: Owl Canvas Paintings Thursday, November 15th from 6-8 p.m. Grades 6-12 may join the Pop Up Art School to learn techniques of painting in layers to create a striking image of an owl up close and personal. Book Sale Teen Volunteers Needed Saturday, November 3rd from 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday, November 4th from 12-2 p.m. Teen volunteers (grades 7-12) are needed for one-hour shifts at the Friends' Library Book Sale. Tasks include: making change, moving books, and assisting patrons carrying boxes of books.
