This month's featured pick was chosen by Library Director Deborah, who recommends Time's Children by D. B. Jackson to her fellow Fantasy lovers. This is the first book in the new Islevale Cycle series, about a 15-year-old boy with the rare ability to walk through time. He agrees to help the sovereign by going back 14 years to try to prevent a violent war from destroying the kingdom, but arrives too late and finds himself stuck in the past in a body that has aged 14 years. He now must desperately try to protect an orphaned infant princess and find his way back home to his own time. Deborah says of author D. B. Jackson: "He's a great world builder and this newest series is no exception. Can't wait for book two."
