Takeout & computer use by appointment available 6 days a week. Online services available 24/7.

It has now been one year since we were able to offer our normal services due to Covid-19. It's hard to believe we've only seen most of you through our Takeout window. While we are grateful that our building's design has allowed for face-to-face service, we understand that for a lot of you it's just not the same. Please know we are actively working towards safely opening the building for more than computer appointments. This is a multi-step process, and one that involves our own Board of Trustees, the Town's Board of Health and other Town officials. We hope to announce our plans soon. In the meantime, take good care of yourselves.

Borrow something new!

New books are always being added. Click on the images to enlarge them. See something you like? Place requests for pickup through Takeout. More information on Takeout is below. We have physical magazines available to pickup, but there are also 50 titles available to borrow in OverDrive/the Libby app - no waiting and plenty of back issues to keep you busy.

Acushnet readers - you logged over 42,000 minutes in our Snowed In challenge! For those keeping track, that equaled 2,800 snowballs. We'll be washing those off the library windows as fast as we can, in our excitement for Spring! Learn more about Beanstack and our current challenges here.

"Take and Make" - a project to do at home!

We still have Pot of Gold kits for ages 3+!
Thanks to the generosity of one Acushnet family, we also have a limited number of Easter egg decorating kits for ages 3+. Eggs are not included.

TAKEOUT AVAILABLE.
To learn more about our Takeout program, please click here. We have pre-made book bundles and can also customize item requests. Fill out a Takeout form here, call us at 508-998-0270 or email us at acuholds@sailsinc.org. We are happy to help you find books, movies and more!

Takeout is available Mondays and Wednesdays 11-7, Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-7, Fridays 1-5 and Saturdays 10-2. Make sure to schedule a pick up by phone or email before coming to the library.

We are also accepting non-perishable donations for the Shepherd's Pantry during Takeout.

LIMITED COMPUTER USE.

Computers are now available by appointment only. Computers have been spaced 6 feet apart and will be sanitized between each use. Each session is limited to 45 minutes, and patrons can book 1 session per day.

RETURNING ITEMS.

Items can be returned during Takeout hours or in our exterior drop 24/7.

Please note: items will be quarantined for up to 7 days and will remain on your card during the quarantine process. You will not be charged any fines for the days your items are in quarantine.

THINGS TO DO ONLINE.

With your APL card, you can download through OverDrive/the Libby app and hoopla.
