Molly of Denali Family ProgramSeptember 18, 12pm Families are invited to a program to learn about Molly of Denali, and practice their map reading skills. Each family will explore maps, engage in some hands-on play, and discuss what a map of their own community might look like. Presented as part of our Inquire Within partnership with WQED Education, and is sponsored by the Center for Community Resources Space is limited, and registration is required. I.D.E.A.L. Book Club for Kids This monthly self-guided book club will cover titles that deal with inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility. Each month, readers will read the selected title to learn more about an underrepresented group. We encourage participants and their families to engage in discussion surrounding the topics these books cover.

Body Image Bootcamp September 7-11 Tues 7th-Fri 10th, 5:30pm Saturday 11th, 1:00pm Come learn about body image with us through a variety of activities and speakers! Snacks provided every day. Bootcamp program designed by our summer intern and funded by the Public Library Association. 7th: kids and tween body acceptance with body tracing activity 8th: tween/teen body image photo booth and button making 9th: tween/teen community body image discussion, with pizza! 10th: tween/teen body image art and portrait project 11th: tween/teen diverse speaker panel on Zoom and making self-care packages at the library Check out full descriptions for each day's program on the YA page of our website here. "Sus" Tag September 24, 6pm All crewmates in grades 4-12 are welcome to a special after-hours event at the library! We will be playing "Sus Tag" in person, which you may know more fondly as something along the lines of..."Around Us" or something like that. Some Crewmates will be assigned tasks to perform in various parts of the library, while others will be on the hunt as impersonators... 9/11 Anniversary Poster Exhibit September 7-9, 9am-7pm September 10, 9am-4pm September 11, 9am-3pm Library Courtyard The library will display a 14-poster exhibit, "September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World," created by the 9/11 Memorial and Museum to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. On September 10-11, a new 35-minute video produced by the museum for the anniversary will also be available to watch in the library sun room. Presented in partnership with the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, made possible in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Emergency Rental Assistance Program Sign-Up Event with Center for Community Resources September 16, 3-6pm
If you are a renter in need of rental assistance and/or utility assistance, Center for Community Resources may be able to help. CCR will be at the library Thursday, September 16 from 3-6pm to help eligible people apply. Please bring state ID, Social Security Card, copy of lease, and copy of utility bills. Recon Brewing Karma Tap Fundraiser for BCFLS Ongoing while supplies last The "Overdue 1894" pale ale brewed for the Butler Area Public Library 125th is back on the Recon Karma Tap. 15% of sales from the Karma Tap will benefit the Butler County Federated Library System and help all 9 Butler County library locations.
