Library Highlight
New York Times Digital
San Francisco Public Library has access to the New York Times website. If you are accessing New York Times outside the library, click HERE. (Remote access users are allowed 72 hours of continuous access at a time. Redeem another code for an additional 72 hours of access.) You must create an account for access. Click “Log In” and “Sign Up” to create an account with your personal email address, or log in if you already have created an account.

Learn to search the Historical San Francisco Chronicle database - The Library has access to the San Francisco Chronicle Current and Historical database which begins in 1865. Learn tips on searching for San Francisco's history – including national and worldwide topics. Come learn how to use this tremendous resource at the library! Bring your laptops if you prefer or laptops will be provided on site.

Have You Seen Her, La Misión? - Short Films by Mission natives/residents. Vero Majano, Artist and SF Mission district native, along with Sergio de la Mora, Chicana/o Studies Associate Professor at UC Davis, have curated- Have You Seen Her, La Misión? This collection of short films explores the responses and transformations experienced in the Mission District during the late 1990s dot.com boom. All the filmmakers– most Mission born and/or residents, several making their first film–represent locations and people in remarkably personal voices and dynamic film styles.
