November 5th Elections

Glen Park Branch will serve as a polling place from 7 am to 8 pm November 5. There will be no storytime or HW Hangout that day and other services may be impacted.

Contribute to the Glen Park Community Ofrenda November 1st & 2nd


Help us celebrate those who have passed by contributing anything that serves as a remembrance for a loved one to our community ofrenda for Día de los Muertos. Bring flowers, photos, letters/notes, sealed food/drink or any small keepsake or trinket. Our community-built ofrenda will be on display through November 7th.

Join retired lawyer Susan Pollack for a conversation about organizing and sharing information about one's estate and other critical documents - both for oneself and for those who will will have to work with it when something happens to you.

Neurodivergent Craft

and Sound Bath

Wednesday, 11/20 | 4:00-4:45

Engage in a workshop to promote social emotional learning and coping skills for neurodivergent children led by Sound Healer Megan Heuer. Participants will create a personalized dice block to take home as a tool to practice coping skills. This is a beginner-friendly event featuring a brief sound bath session. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.

SF Stone Garden Miniature Craft with Tammie Knight

Saturday, 11/16  |  3:00-5:00

Explore architectural and design thinking with artist and professional miniaturist Tammie Knight. Hang out and share miniature art tips after. Craft kits with all materials and tools, including sharp craft knives, provided by the Museum of Craft and Design.

Storytime with Police Officer Dedet and Others

Thursday, 11/21 |  11:30-12:00

In this special storytime we'll learn about police as community helpers with Ingleside Station San Francisco Police Officers. They will read books and sing songs alongside our librarians. Stay after the half hour storytime to take pictures with the officers and ask questions.

In the Neighborhood - Elk Street Mural

The fabulous muralist, Sirron Norris, will share his draft design for the Elk Street wall by Glen Canyon and we want to hear your observations. The community feedback meeting will be in the Glen Park Recreation Center ping pong room November 16th from 1:30pm-3pm. Bring the family! Elk Street mural is a project of Burnside Mural+; SF Parks Alliance is the fiscal sponsor.
