Lucha Libros
With Central Library temporarily closed pending a necessary earthquake retrofit, our offerings have been reduced.
Due to Central Library’s closure, we regret the cancellation of the popular Lucha Libros bilingual reading program that was traditionally launched each year during Latino Heritage Month to support student reading achievement all through the school year. Sadly, we cannot replicate the program at our much smaller branch libraries. We look forward to resuming this program and its positive impact on student success when Central Library reopens. To learn more, visit: https://www.cityofpasadena.net/library/central-library-earthquake-retrofit/
The Pasadena Public Library is committed to being an inclusive space for our community encouraging lifelong learning and free access to resources and enriching programs and services. We hope that you will be able to attend one or more of our upcoming celebrations in commemoration of Latino Heritage Month.
