Starting May 28 at 9:00 a.m., we welcome you to once again join us as we celebrate the fairy folk of Marshfield! Register for your fairy house kit, then drop your masterpiece off at the library by June 8 to join in the fun! More information can be found on our website or by calling the library and speaking to the children’s librarians. This program is for ALL ages! Children, teens, adults and groups are all welcome and encouraged to join this creative program.

Concert with Thea Hopkins
Saturday, May 18 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
A member of Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe of Martha’s Vineyard MA, performing songwriter Thea Hopkins calls her music Red Roots Americana. Thea is an award winning writer and musician who plays a mix of both traditional and contemporary Indigenous music at festivals and other venues across the country.
Wampanoag History Past & Present
Wednesday, May 29 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
An Indigenous Museum Educator from Plimoth Patuxet will lead a unique conversation that explores 12,000 years of Wampanoag history. This lecture is free and open to the public and is generously sponsored by the Marshfield Cultural Council.

Join us for two exciting programs!
 
Let's Look Closely | 2:00 - 2:45 p.m.
Preschoolers will learn all about the world around by using their powers of observation during this hands-on look at the world up close. Ages 3-5 and one caregiver per child/family. Registration Required
 
Space Science | 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Students will launch their investigation of rocket propulsion using the compressed air inside balloons for thrust. The class will race balloon rockets and be challenged to devise a balloon-powered rocket car. Grade K-5 and one caregiver per child/family. Registration Required
Crafternoon
Tuesday, May 7 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Join us for a Crafternoon! We will be setting up the
Children's Program Room with various craft supplies. This a not a librarian led program; supervision is required at all times.
Lego Club
Monday, May 13 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. 
Come to the library to play with Legos! This casual
event is best for supervised children over 3 years old. This is not a librarian lead program. Children under nine years old must be supervised by an adult at all times.
The Teen Zone and teen programs are open to folks ages 12-18. The Wave Makerspace is open to anyone by appointment - sign up today!
