Adult Book Groups We have three monthly book groups for adults! Titles can be picked up at the Check Out Desk a month in advance. The Nonfiction Book Group meets in-person on the first Tuesday of every month. The Contemporary Book Group meets virtually the second Wednesday of every month. The #FYP Book Group (for your page) is inspired by books that are popular online. It meets the last week of every month.

Community Coffee Hour Monday, October 17, 5:00 p.m. Community Coffee Hour features a different community leader each month. Guests will give a brief overview of the the work they do in Marshfield, followed by a Q&A session. Our first guest will be Alli Mayer and Stacey Toon of Road to Responsibility. Coffee, water, and light refreshments will be served.

Tuesday, October 18, 6:00 p.m. This program is open to ages 13 and up. Learn how to needle felt wool with Pop up Art School. Sculpt two pumpkins and leave with the knowledge and basic supplies to continue felting on your own. Registration Required

Lost String BandSunday, October 30, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Chris Reckling and Anne Rouillard are the Long Lost String Band. Bring your friends and be ready to stomp your feet to the music as they play old time fiddle tunes and early country songs.

Two Halloween Parties Wednesday, October 19, 10:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. Join Have a frighteningly good time with Miss Wendy and Miss Jen as we celebrate our favorite holiday! Ages 2-5, join us at 10:00 a.m. and ages 6-11, join us at 3:00 p.m. Wear your favorite family friendly costume, eat some treats, listen to a story and make a craft! We can't wait! Wednesdays, October 5 & 26 3:00-4:00 p.m. This cool program has two parts! On our first week, come to the library, listen to one (or two) chapters of City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab! We will talk about the book and make inferences based on our first chapter. On the second meet up we will discuss what we thought about the book and whether it met our expectations!
