Special Announcement: We also are excited to announce the next phase in our new strategic plan development. We had 457 responses to our Strategic Plan Survey, and now we want to build on that feedback in a public Community Input Session. Please join us on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. to hear feedback from the survey and to share your thoughts on library services. Light refreshments will be served.

Tax Forms: It's tax season, and if you are looking for paper state tax booklets or federal 1040s, we have them free to take. Inquire at the Reference Desk the next time you stop by.
 
Seed Donations: We are also building a new seed library! We are currently seeking donations, so please reach out to Erica at eruscio@ocln.org if you have extra or miscellaneous seeds to donate.

Celtic Concert: Atwater-Donnelly Duo
Saturday, March 18, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Award-winning, internationally acclaimed duo, Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly will play traditional American and Celtic folk songs to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day.
Arts & Crafts: Make Marbled Paper
Tuesday, March 22, 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Make your own piece of history with this marbled paper workshop, led by Old Colony History Museum. No experience necessary. All materials will be provided. Registration Required
Community Coffee Hour with DA Tim Cruz
Saturday, March 25, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Our special guest will be Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz. Each Community Coffee Hour features a different community leader. Guests will give a brief overview of the the work they do, followed by a Q&A session and opportunity to mingle. Coffee, water, and light refreshments will be served. 
Trivia at Stellwagen Beer Co.
Wednesday, March 29, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Join us at 100 Enterprise Drive for trivia! Teams of up to six people compete in four rounds of trivia. Compete for cool prizes and show off your trivia prowess in Marshfield's favorite brewery. Registration Required
 
Miss Wendy and Miss Jen have enjoyed seeing everyone back in the newly renovated library. We have new storytimes and new drop-in programs. But don't worry, we still have our ever-popular children's room scavenger hunts, so stop by and say hello! Storytime Programs
Our weekly storytimes have NEW times, and we have added a special preschool storytime at the end of the month. No registration required for any of our storytimes.
 
Toddler Storytime: Mondays at 9:30 a.m.
This lively librarian led weekly storytime is for 13-months to 2 year old children and their caregivers. We'll read stories, sing songs, and move around! This program encourages early literacy and social interaction through listening, movement and singing. 
 
Baby Storytime: Mondays at 11:00 a.m.
Join us in promoting language and motor skills in this weekly librarian led storytime that is best for babies who are under one year old and their caregivers. Come prepared to sit on the floor and play with your baby! 
 
NEW Preschool Storytime
Tuesday, March 28 at 10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.
This fast paced librarian led storytime is for 3-5 year olds and their caregivers. This program encourages early literacy and social interaction through imagination, repetition, movement and socialization.

No registration is required for any of our drop-in programs.

For children in kindergarten through grade.
There's always something fun happening in the Teen Zone. Our teen room is open for teens in grades 6-12 to hang out and study. The Wave Makerspace is open by appointment. You can also drop in and play our Switch any day after school. For all our events, view our teen events calendar.

March Madness Book Brackets
Just like the best basketball teams, the highest circulated books in The Teen Zone are going into competition! Snag a prediction sheet in the Teen Room, then fill it out and give it to Tori by March 15. Then vote in our Google polls each week for your favorite books! The person(s) with the closest bracket at the end of the month will win a super special prize! 
Virtual Author Talk with Bridget Farr
Tuesday, October 25, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
The Teen Zone is proud to present a virtual author event with Bridget Farr! Bridget is the author of The Truth About Everything. Come watch the event with us at the library, or connect to the Zoom link here. Bookmarks and signed book plates will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
