Ventress Voice · February 2024 · Vol 7.2
There is so much to love at Ventress Memorial Library. This month, we will once again have cut-out hearts at the Check-Out Desk and in the Children's Room for you to write down what you love about your library. You can also print out a library valentine and share why you love your library at LoveMassLibraries.com!

This coming Sunday, on February 4, 2024, the Friends of the Ventress Memorial Library invites the community to a special Friends' Open House from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The Friends will be talking about the mission of the Friends, providing free treats, highlighting the amazing services offered by the Library, and holding a fun Scavenger Hunt. There is no better way to show your support for the library than by becoming a member of the Friends, so drop by the Library and find out about how to become a member. All Ages Welcome!

We are also super excited to announce a forthcoming Accessible Internet Station, part of our Access for All grant, a Library Services and Technology Act grant, awarded by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. This station will feature a large monitor and high-contrast keyboard for low-vision, along with an adaptive mouse and an optional, dyslexia friendly keyboard.

Finally, we will open late on Monday, February 26, from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. for morning staff training as part of our our Access for All grant.
