The Dearborn Public Library is excited to announce that we'll be launching a new website on December 1. At the time of the change there will be a period of downtime, where the library website will be unavailable. However, library materials will still be searchable and holds may be placed through the library catalog and registration for any upcoming events may still be done through the events calendar.

The library is holding a non-perishable food drive for the Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive Food Pantry. Please bring non-perishable, non-expired boxed or canned food items to any Dearborn Public Library location during regular library hours.

Henry Ford Centennial Library - First Floor The FOLD Book Sale is now held on the Second Wednesday of the month from 10:00am - 6:00pm. Books, magazines, audiobooks, movies, and more are located in the Rotunda and in Room 113. Items are sold as is. FOLD accepts cash, checks, and debit/credit cards.

Henry Ford Centennial Library - Auditorium Dearborn Public Library’s book discussion group “Classics Revisited” meets on the third Wednesday of each month (September through May) at 7:00pm. The group is doing a hybrid meeting format this year. Discussions will be held in-person in the auditorium at Henry Ford Centennial Library. The auditorium will allow for social distancing. Masks are recommended for all, but are required for unvaccinated participants. For those of you who would like to attend remotely, please click here to join through Zoom. Monday, December 20 at 6:30pm Join us for a special holiday discussion of the film, Polar Express. This event will be held online through Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to your email once you are registered. DVD copies of the film can be reserved in our catalog or through MeLCat.

Tuesday, December 21 at 6:00pm — 7:00pm Join us for an online discussion about adjusting recipes to your needs and available ingredients. Instructors from the Cooking Matters program will help participants learn to use recipes as guidelines, change parts of recipes and adapt to picky eaters or specialized diets.
All participants will receive a $10 Kroger Gift Card after attending. (Must attend the live Zoom program to receive a gift card.) Space is limited. Registration is required. Henry Ford Centennial Library — SparkLab (3rd Floor M12 Maker Space) Make a tasty and healthy dessert that is gluten-free to boot! This hands-on cooking class is open to Adults and Teens, aged 14 and older. Participants will make a cornbread cake and fresh-made cranberry lemon sauce to top it. An ingredient list is available by contacting the Adult Services Desk. Space is limited and registration is required. This cooking class is not socially distanced and participants are strongly encouraged to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. Unvaccinated participants are required to wear masks.
