This Was Our Year: COVID-19 Pandemic Stories from Hampden County

This documentary features 14 interviews about our community's pandemic experiences in Hampden County. Filmed and edited virtually, this adult-youth collaboration highlights the perspectives of students, workers, and parents during the COVID-19 global pandemic. We will have 2 of the filmmakers on hand for Q&A afterward. Watch the trailer here

Do you want to earn your high school diploma? There is a new online program called Excel High School that Massachusetts residents can access for free through the library.
Come to this virtual info session to learn more about this self-paced program, and see if it's right for you.

A cooking class meets book club series for those who love to cook at home. Cook together - hands-on and in-person! | Sixteen Acres | Adults

Join us for a new cooking class meets book club series that will be hands-on and in-person for those who love to cook at home. During the class, participants will assist in creating a pre-selected dish from the chosen cookbook of the month. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to check out the selected cookbook ahead of time and to bring an accompanying dish from it to share.
Registration for this event is required with a limit of 10 participants.

Springfield City Library Takes Springfield Comic Con!
The Springfield City Library had a great time at the Comic Convention on Saturday, June 23, 2002. Teen Services Librarian, Sarah, (Aka Doc Ock) posed with lots of passersby handing out free comics and letting comic fans know about the amazing clubs and programs we have coming up this Fall.
