OverDrive Announces Changes to its Classic eBooks Mobile App
Do you read library eBooks and eAudiobooks with the OverDrive mobile app? OverDrive has reported that it will be fully disabling its classic app in early 2023, and only offering Libby, their newer mobile app.
Now's the time to give Libby a try! It's synced with OverDrive so that all your loans, holds, and wish list items will be waiting for you in Libby when you add your County of SLO Public Libraries card.

Will there be a mobile library app like the Black Gold app?
Yes. Our new mobile library app is in the testing stages currently, and we hope to release it soon. Things are taking longer than we expected (pandemic problems!), but we think you'll be excited about all of the helpful features it has.
Can I read the SLO Tribune online for free with my library card?
You'll find the SLO Tribune Collection on SLOLibrary.org's Digital page or Online Learning page. Your library card number is required to sign in. The collection includes image and text versions from 2000 to the present. For today’s Tribune, select image format.
What's my password to sign into my library account online?
Our recent catalog update may have reset your library account password to the last four digits of the phone number on the account. You can change your password at any time by selecting Reset My Password in the Sign In window. You'll receive an email to change it. You can also change your password by selecting Reset My Password once you've signed into your account. Watch this video for more help.
Does the library have a bookmobile?
We have three! Our new 'Branch Out' vans will hit the road soon, delivering books and services all over the county. Stay tuned for more details!
