Join us at the Atascadero Library for an exciting opportunity to meet our California Poet Laureate, Lee Herrick! Herrick will be leading a writing workshop designed to ignite the creative spark within aspiring writers and provide a platform for honing their writing skills. This workshop welcomes writers of all levels and backgrounds. Lee Herrick was appointed California Poet Laureate last year by Gov. Gavin Newsom. Herrick has authored three books of poetry: Scar and Flower, Gardening Secrets of the Dead, and This Many Miles from Desire. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
