Summer Reading is one of our favorite ways to connect with you. This year is going to look a little different but we will have just as much fun!  The program is online through Beanstack, an app or web-based program that allows you to track your reading and participate in engaging activities for all ages, including wee readers, kids, teens and adults.

Washington State Library is pleased to announce its participation in the Virtual Library Comic Convention (VLCC). Over 4,000 comics, graphic novels, and children’s materials are freely available through August 31 to all residents of Washington, no sign in required. This innovative project, in collaboration with nine other states, will provide easy access to digital resources while also supporting statewide summer reading programs for all ages during the COVID-19 period.
