Season of Events at Sherwood Public Library
This fall is full of entertainment, enrichment, and new skills in our season line-up of free events. From learning new digital skills, to live theatre, a comedy and juggling act, storytimes, and hands-on robotics fun for kids, there’s something for everyone. Join us for Halloween Trick-or-Treating from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31.
Voting Resources -- November 5 Election
The deadline to register to vote in the next election is October 15, 2024.  Ballots are mailed beginning October 16 for the November 5 general election.  You may now track your ballot status through BallotTrax. A drive-up Official Ballot Dropsite is in our parking lot at 22560 SW Pine street. Ballots can also be mailed, no postage required, and must be postmarked by November 5. Find out more about voting at

THEATRE @ THE LIBRARY:
THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING
Northwest Classical Theater Collaborative presents The Year of Magical Thinking, by Joan Didion. Starring actress Diane Kondrat, and featuring an original violin score composed and performed by Michelle Alany, this story of unexpected loss examines the power of grief and how we can heal from its effects. Directed by Patrick Walsh. Light refreshments.

Flawless Girls

CITIZENSHIP CLASSES /
CLASES DE CIUDADANÍA
Volunteers from Mission:Citizen offer a free citizenship course that will cover U.S. history, the structure of government, civil rights, and basic civic concepts. The course is in English, and presenters are able to answer questions in English, Spanish, and other languages. Each class covers a different topic. No class October 31.
