Meeting Rooms and In-person Events
 
In response to the pandemic, Washoe County Library System suspended all in-person programs and use of our reservable meeting rooms. We will continue to reintroduce services throughout the year, and in September we will again be offering meeting rooms and events at our libraries.

On the Shelf/On the Kids' Shelf
 
Your Washoe County Library librarians are hitting the airwaves with a new radio series on KUNR!
 
On the Shelf airs each Monday at 6:42 a.m. and 8:42 a.m. during Morning Edition. Listen in for reading recommendations and catch the latest in book news. 
 
Then join us every Monday and Wednesday at 11:04 am during The Takeaway and again at 3:48 pm during All Things Considered for a quick two-minute segment that includes an engaging book talk, fun activity, and some early literacy tips for families.  
 
Tune in to both on KUNR 88.7 FM, or listen online.
 
Friends of Washoe County Library
Book Sale: July 10-18
 
Join us for the first FWCL book sale in more than a year. As always,  the sale will be held inside the Reno Town Mall, next-door to the Sierra View Library. There will be a large selection of books, DVDs, and CDs at very reasonable prices. 
 
The Friends of Washoe County Library is a member-supported 501(c)(3) Nevada non-profit organization dedicated to advocating, fundraising, and providing support for the Washoe County Library System.
