Tinker CreekingThis month's addition to our virtual galleries is a series of small-scale sculptures by multidisciplinary artist Michelle Lassaline. The pieces were created with found objects collected during the artist’s habitual practice of “tinker creeking,” a practice of revisiting places in order to notice changes and make observations of all things small and large. Changes to Telephone Reference Coming May 1 As the library reopens for more services, centralized telephone reference will no longer be available after April 30. At that time, telephone assistance will be available by calling any open branch. See our list of branches here.

Call for submissions: For our Tails and Tales Summer Reading Story Stroll you are invited to submit a short story or poem to be displayed in a park somewhere in Washoe County. Deadline for submissions is May 15. This event is open to people ages 4-18. See the full details and submission requirements here.
