Expanded Hours Coming Next Week
On Monday, we will be expanding our hold pickup hours at three branches. The new hours will be:
 
Incline Village
  • Monday: 10 am-3 pm
  • Tuesday-Thursday: 1-6 pm
Northwest Reno 
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 10 am-1 pm; 3-6 pm 
  • Saturday: 10 am-2 pm
Sierra View 
  • Tuesday and Wednesday: 3-6 pm
  • Thursday and Saturday: 10 am-1 pm
Hours at our other branches will remain the same for now. See our entire schedule and keep up on the latest developments on our reopening page. Masks are required at all locations, and temperature checks will be performed for visitors to our grab-and-go locations.

Before Reno and Sparks

Early settlers in the Truckee Meadows knew nothing of Reno or Sparks. Instead, they lived in communities like Eastman Mill and Brown's Crossing -- villages whose names no longer appear on modern maps.
 
This talk will look at a few of the early communities that today can only be found in historical archives.
