On the Shelf/On the Kids' Shelf Your Washoe County Library librarians are hitting the airwaves with a new radio series on KUNR! On the Shelf airs each Monday at 6:42 a.m. and 8:42 a.m. during Morning Edition. Listen in for reading recommendations and catch the latest in book news. Then join us every Monday and Wednesday at 11:04 am during The Takeaway and again at 3:48 pm during All Things Considered for On the Kids' Shelf, a quick two-minute segment that includes an engaging book talk, fun activity, and some early literacy tips for families.
