Washoe County Library System will be spending the week of October 15–21 celebrating the Friends of Washoe County Library as part of the 18th annual National Friends of Libraries Week.
Since 1980 the Friends of Washoe County Library have advocated for and supported the Washoe County Library System. Over 600 community members contribute annually to this nonprofit organization, and several of these contributors volunteer their time to assist with fundraising efforts, including a bimonthly book sale.
Their next book sale starts this weekend. As always, the sale will be held in the Reno Town Mall, next-door to the Sierra View Library. |

We can help you complete online job applications, file for unemployment, set up an email address, apply for government assistance, and more. Make an appointment, and a librarian will do their best to help you. |
