Story Stroll: Call for Submissions
Do you know a young author or artist? You can see their work featured in Washoe County parks and libraries this summer.

We are inviting Washoe County residents ages 4-18 to submit a poem or short story for our Tails and Tales Summer Reading Story Stroll. Accepted writing (and illustrations, if provided) will be printed out and displayed in parks throughout Washoe County.

In keeping with this year's summer reading theme, we're asking for pieces about animals--wild animals, mythical creatures, pets...any kind of of animals.

Deadline for submissions is May 15. See the full details and submission requirements here. In the meantime, take a virtual stroll through our online galleries to see paintings, photographs, sculptures, and more by a variety of local artists.
