Sync Audiobooks for Teens returns for a twelfth season of free audiobook downloads for kids 13 and up! AudioFile Magazine has hosted this program all these years to encourage the development of new listeners during middle and high school summer vacation periods. Two new audiobooks titles will be offered each week from April 29 through August 4, 2021.

Monday, April 26, 4 pm Mindful Movement Story Time focuses on early literacy, social-emotional learning, and movement. This story time integrates music, creative movement, and yoga to provide children with opportunities to promote self-awareness, imagination, as well as connect with others and the world around them.

Call for submissions: For our Tails and Tales Summer Reading Story Stroll you are invited to submit a short story or poem to be displayed in a park somewhere in Washoe County. Deadline for submissions is May 15. This event is open to people ages 4-18. See the full details and submission requirements here.
