Automated Book Drops Coming Soon
Next week Washoe County Library System will be installing automated book drops at four of our locations. Once they are operational, these new book drops will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They will instantly check-in returned items, so when you return an item your account will be immediately updated.

In order to accommodate the installation of these machines, book drops will be closed March 1-5 at the Downtown Reno, Spanish Springs, Sierra View, and Incline Village Libraries. All due dates have been extended by one week, so you can keep any items you currently have checked out until our new, automated book drops are installed.

The book drops at Sparks, South Valleys, Northwest Reno, and North Valleys Libraries will remain open during this period.

Visit our reopening page to stay up-to-date on our available services.
