The Downtown Reno Library will be closed starting November 27 for renovations to the elevator.


The location is expected to reopen with limited services on December 18.

Northwest Reno Library

Learn chess basics including the names and moves of each piece. For more advanced players, take your game to the next level and develop winning strategies and tactics. Each week will include lessons, guidance, analysis, and puzzles to help build your knowledge, and then feature friendly over-the-board chess play.

Maker Weekend

Saturday & Sunday, November 18–19 3–4:30 pm

South Valleys Library

We'll be using the Cricut Maker, Easy Press, Mug Press and/or Mini Press to create fun projects. Projects include personalized mugs, intricate paper crafts, Perler bead projects, tote bags, and simplified sublimation. Ages 12 and up.
