Sparks Library Closing for Renovations
Washoe County Library System is continuing our plan to improve library services by moving forward with renovations at the Sparks Library. These improvements are part of an ongoing effort to ensure that a first-class library system is available to all our patrons.

The Sparks Library opened in 1964 and is one of Washoe County Library System’s oldest branches. The renovation of the building will include access improvements and upgrades to furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

The building and book drop will be closed to the public starting December 16, with an anticipated reopening planned for April 2022.
