Spring is almost here, and the Spanish Springs Library wants your growing season to be a success.
On the second Sunday of each month through August, the library will be hosting certified Master Gardeners who will share their expertise with you.
Each of these events will include three half-hour talks on specific gardening topics. For the first event, this Sunday, the speakers will be addressing:
A mobile help desk will be available during these talks, so you can get one-on-one help with your specific gardening questions.

Fantasy and science fiction can build whole worlds for us to explore. How do we build these worlds with everyone in mind? Together, we'll look at examples of inclusive worldbuilding in pop culture and brainstorm how to create our own worlds. Hosted by Naseem Jamnia, author of The Bruising of Qilwa.

For more than 50 years, Marilyn Newton has made her career as a chronicler of everything Nevada. She has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and has won hundreds of awards. Reno residents know her for her decades of work as a newspaper photographer, covering breaking news, special events, and everything in between. She will talk about her work and share a selection of favorite photos. |
