Washoe County Library System is saying goodbye to Library Board of Trustees chair Frank Perez. He is stepping down from the board to run for elected office. We thank him for his service on the board and wish him luck in the future.
The Board of Washoe County Commissioners is now accepting applications to fill the vacancy left by his departure. Trustees on the five-member board are appointed by the Washoe County Commissioners and serve up to two four-year terms. Deadline for application is Wednesday, January 17, 2024, 5 pm.
