New Developments at the Library
Washoe County Library staff are busy working to roll out new services and resources. Here’s a recap of some of our recent projects:
  • New automated book drops allow your items to be checked in instantly at six locations.
  • We recently expanded hold pickup hours and added new services, with plans to expand access as soon as we are able.
  • Library staff are assisting the Washoe County School District with COVID-19 contact tracing.
  • Next week we will launch our new online catalog, making finding the right resources easier for English- and Spanish-speaking users.
  • Later this month we will launch our new online learning platform, LinkedIn Learning, an upgrade to our Lynda subscription for library users.
To get the latest information about new hours, virtual events, and library services, be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We look forward to seeing you soon!
