English Language Acquisition Courses Washoe County Library System has partnered with Northern Nevada Literacy Council to provide an on-site instructor to teach English language acquisition at the Sierra View Library. These classes will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9 am-11:30 am and 3:30 pm-6:00 pm. Classes begin on October 25, 2021. Call NNLC at 775-356-1007 to register.

Academically advanced high school and college-aged Reno Alliance for Free Tutoring mentors are now providing free, personalized tutoring and homework help at three Washoe County Library locations. RAFT is a volunteer, student-led tutoring organization committed to helping students in grades 1-12. Registration in the program is required. Visit RAFT's website to find a tutor, or visit a participating library during tutoring hours to apply.
