Coming soon: Meeting Rooms and In-person Events In response to the pandemic, Washoe County Library System suspended all in-person programs and use of our reservable meeting rooms. We will continue to reintroduce services throughout the year, and in September we will again be offering meeting rooms and events at our libraries. On the Shelf/On the Kids' Shelf Your Washoe County Library librarians are hitting the airwaves with a new radio series on KUNR! On the Shelf airs each Monday at 6:42 a.m. and 8:42 a.m. during Morning Edition. Listen in for reading recommendations and catch the latest in book news. Then join us during Here & Now on Mondays and Wednesdays at 11:04 a.m. or at 3:48 during All Things Considered for On the Kids' Shelf, a quick, two-minute segment that includes an engaging book talk, a fun activity, and some early literacy tips for families.
