Still trying to think of a great Mother's Day gift for this year?
Register for a Quad session on May 7, and you can create a special gift for Mother's Day. Gift choices are a bottle opener, a luggage tag, a heart ornament, or a mug. You will personalize the item with a family photo or other design and take home a colorful, unique gift. Please bring two or three favorite family photos on a USB drive to use in your gift project.
Ages 8 and over. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times. Registration is required, and this event is filling up fast. Find other maker sessions in the Quad here.
The workshop features local experts on topics that include planning your will and/or trust, power of attorney, duties of executors and successor trustees, protecting digital assets, long-term care considerations and more. A comprehensive workbook is included.
Come in every Thursday for a fun activity that combines creativity and science. This week we'll be doing 3D Modeling. Learn to create your own original 3D design in Tinkercad and then have it printed using the library's 3D printer.
This week we will be working with the sublimation printer and heat press. We'll provide you with a coffee mug, coaster, or metal bookmark (limit one item per person), and you can transfer a vivid, full-color design or photograph onto it. Bring an image file (.png or .jpg) on a flash drive or your phone, and leave with a vibrant, one-of-a-kind item.
