We'll be back in Victorian Square this year for another parade. Bring your beret and cheer on our book cart drill team as we celebrate the ART of Christmas.

A Holiday Concert for 2021
 
The popular woodwind quintet will perform favorite holiday classics at several locations and times. Enjoy Christmas carols, selections from The Nutcracker, and other seasonal music. Registration is required.

Maker Christmas

Create Create your own unique buttons, magnets, or 3D-printed ornaments for the holidays! A wrapping station for gifts will be available!

Sessions will be at the Spanish Springs Library each of the next three Sundays. To encourage safe distancing, Washoe County Library System is requiring registration for all library events.

Meet Kendra Atleework
 
Join Nevada Humanities for Nevada Reads In Your Library, and meet 2021 Nevada Reads author Kendra Atleework for a reading and discussion. Atleework will read from her powerful debut, Miracle Country: A Memoir of a Family and a Landscape, and speak about memoir writing, family, and how spending time in the high desert has shaped her work.

Sparks Library Closing for Renovations

Washoe County Library System is making planned renovations to some of our branches. The Sparks Library will be closing on December 16, with an expected reopening in March 2022. 
 
The Northwest Reno Library is currently closed for renovations. It is expected to reopen in February 2022.  
 
If you have items on hold at either of these locations, visit our online catalog to choose an alternate location.
