Freed Between the Lines: Banned Books Week September 22-28

Coinciding with Banned Books Week this year, September 21–28 is United Against Hate Week.

Organized by the United Against Hate Campaign, the United Against Hate Week provides an opportunity to affirm community values of safety, equity, inclusion, and belonging for all. The campaign counters toxic messages of hate and hostility, and elevates the voices of targets of hate. The goal is to create opportunities to share stories of the impact of harm and the power of community support.

Visit the United Against Hate website to learn more, and visit a library branch to find our United Against Hate Week coloring pages and to see our banned book week displays.
