Downtown Reno Library
Join us for a day celebrating local authors and their work. More than 30 local authors will read from, sell, and sign their books. Readings will take place every 20 minutes on three stages. Registration is required.
Special guest Willy Vlautin will take the stage at 2:30 pm. The New York Times bestselling author and Reno native will discuss his publishing journey and his newest book, The Horse.

| Letters to Veterans and Troops | November 1–8 North Valleys Library
| Stop by to write a note of gratitude and encouragement to retired military veterans and active service members. The library will distribute these notes to the Northern Nevada State Veterans Hospital and to deployed troops at the Naval Air Station in Fallon, and the USS Nevada. |
