Expanded Book Return Hours

Book returns are now open 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week at most library locations. We are still unable to accept donations or read-and-share items in book returns, so please use the book drops to return library materials only.

Item Quarantine

As part of its effort to keep the public and its employees safe and healthy, all returned items will be quarantined for a minimum of seven days.

There may be delays in hold availability for items at the South Valleys Library and the Sparks Library. If you have an item to pick up from one of those branches, pay special attention to the instructions in your hold confirmation email.

This quarantine period will also affect returned items and transit periods. You may see items you've returned still displaying as checked out in your online account. If your held item is moving from one branch to another, please expect a minimum of seven days.
