All our locations will be closed on Friday, December 31 and Saturday, January 1 for the holiday, but you can still check out books and magazines from our digital library and watch library events on our YouTube channel.

Learn and Make in the Quad
Wednesday, January 5, 3-6 pm, Downtown Reno Library
 
You'll have a variety of projects to choose from while using the the vinyl cutter and heat press. You'll be able to make a simple decal or you can personalize a tote bag (we provide) or T-shirt (you provide). Choose an image from the internet or create your own design.

Dungeons & Dragons
Friday, January 7, 4 - 6 pm, Spanish Springs Library
 
Join us for a storytelling experience where players get to make their own paths. Tabletop role-playing games have been shown to have variety of benefits: they encourage teamwork and cooperation, foster creative and engaging interactions, and help players learn to socialize more effectively. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, playing together is a fun way to meet new people and make potentially lasting relationships.

Mask Requirement
 
In alignment with updated CDC guidelines and the emergency order issued by the State of Nevada, masks are required at all library locations for everyone two years of age or older.

Libraries Closed for Renovations
 
The Northwest Reno Library and the Sparks Library are both currently closed for renovations. They are expected to reopen in February and April 2022, respectively.
 
If you have items on hold at either of these locations, visit our online catalog to choose an alternate location.
